IEC standards - European and national equivalents

IEC standards create an international baseline - increasingly these standards are created to be in alignment with European harmonised standards too. It is also possible to cross-reference national standards against IEC (or EN) standards, to identify the those most closely matching the relevant IEC standard, to support cross-border standardisation, or to ease any procurement challenges.
